Mildred passed away Friday, January 3, 2013 at the age of 90. She was born in Bay City on March 31, 1922 to the late Guy and Florence (Dupree) Miller. She was a Central High School graduate. She married Albert Roe on November 1, 1947 in Owendale Michigan after meeting him while working at Auto Lite, worked for a time at the Peck Drug Store in downtown Bay City, and retired from Sears in 1973 after many years of service. She had a large garden and canned everything she grew. She was a past member of the Moose Lodge; enjoyed camping, fishing, crafts, bingo, playing cards, crocheting afaghans, and attending bazaars to sell her handmade items; traveling to visit Arkansas and Florida after her retirement.
She is survived by her son Ronald (Joann) Roe of Bay City and her daughter, Beverlie (Henry) Ensminger of Jasper TX. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Albert, 1 sister, and 5 brothers.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 1PM. The family will receive friends at the Hyatt Ewald Funeral Home on Friday from 10AM until service time.
