Rosie L. Douglas, age 82 of Saginaw, MI passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at McLaren Bay Medical Center in Bay City.  The former Rosie Thomas was born May 9, 1930 in Coldwater, Mississippi.  She married Warren Douglas October 12, 1958 in Chicago and he preceded her in death on November 3, 2010.

She was a member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church.  She enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends.

Surviving are 4 step-children, Marsha Borders, Lavance Douglas, Ricardo Douglas, and Renee Morris; all of Chicago; her cousin, L.C. (Katherine) Moore of Saginaw; and many other cousins and close friends.

Funeral and Committal Service will take place 11:00 A.M. Monday at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw with Rev. Robert Harris officiating.  Private interment will take place at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends and family will visit at the Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
