Survived By: On August 11, 1956, Katie married Tom Trelewski who survives along with their three children: Holly (Leo) Kukla, Joleen Clark, Tom (Debra) Trelewski, Jr.; her six grandchildren: John, Scott, Alan, Todd, Jenelle, and Brent; her step-grandchild, Ryan; eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Patricia Kozubal; her sisters-in-law: Mary Ann Noonan, Pauline Ridiker, Mary Ida Doan; brother-in-laws: Jim (Diane) Trelewski and Matt Kerr; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Affiliations: Katie graduated from St. Joseph High School in the class of 1951. For 24 years she was employed by Sears Roebuck & Co. from which she retired in 1990. Katie was lifelong member of St. Joseph Church where she was a member of the St. Anne Society.

   Age 79 years died peacefully Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Bay Medical Care Facility with her family by her side.  She was born January 25, 1933 to the late James and Gertrude (Dorien) Noonan in Bay City.  Katie graduated from St. Joseph High School in the class of 1951.   For 24 years she was employed by Sears Roebuck & Co. from which she retired in 1990.  Katie was lifelong member of St. Joseph Church where she was a member of the St. Anne Society.  One of the joys of her life was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

   On August 11, 1956, Katie married Tom Trelewski who survives along with their three children:  Holly (Leo) Kukla, Joleen Clark, Tom (Debra) Trelewski, Jr.; her six grandchildren:  John, Scott, Alan, Todd, Jenelle, and Brent; her step-grandchild, Ryan; eight great-grandchildren;  her sister, Patricia Kozubal; her sisters-in-law:  Mary Ann Noonan, Pauline Ridiker, Mary Ida Doan; brother-in-laws:  Jim (Diane) Trelewski and Matt Kerr; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

 

   Besides her parents, Katie was preceded in death by two sisters:  Mary Frances Wetherell, Elizabeth Kutsch; and her two brothers:  James and Thomas Noonan.

 

   The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of McLaren-Bay Region, Bay Medical Care Facility, and Heartland –Hampton for their compassion and support.

 

   The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11:00 am in St. Joseph Church.  Katie will lie in state in church Saturday after 10:00 am.  Rev. Dale A. Orlik will preside and private family interment will be in Floral Gardens Cemetery.  Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider St. Joseph Church or Santa House.  Members of the St. Anne Society will pray the rosary Friday at 2:00 pm in the Trahan Chapel.  Visiting hours with the family will be Friday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with the Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 pm in the W.
