Passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Covenant Healthcare, age 79 years.
Jimmy was born in Bay City, Michigan April 17, 1933 the son of the late Lloyd and Beatrice (Duby) Bartreau. He married Ethyl Werth February 21, 1953. She predeceased him November 9, 2006. Jimmy loved spending time with his grandchildren; going up to his cabin to relax; deer and turkey hunting; riding his four wheeler; watching NCIS marathons (Abbey was his favorite); collecting John Deere memorabilia; going to rummage sales and going to baseball games. There were no strangers in Jimmy’s world. He loved visiting with everybody.
Jimmy is survived by three sons, Lloyd, John and Tim; nine grandchildren, Sara, Bryan, Howard, Jennifer, Katelyn, Joshua, Elizabeth, Jeffrey, and James,; eight great-grandchildren, Halley, Nathan, Bryan, Jr., Oakley, Elizabeth, Hunter, Kristoffer and Blake; several nieces, and his cat, Dennis. In addition to his wife, Jimmy was predeceased by twin sons, Ronald and Donald.
The funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2013 at W. L. Case & Company, 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
