Additionally two brothers; Melvin of Marlette, MI, George of Twinning, MI and three sisters; Ruth of Oscoda, MI, Elaine of Flint, MI, Linda of AuGres, MI, two granddaughters; Alyssa of Merced, CA and Alexis of Alexandra, VA, three grandsons; Shane of Trenton, TX, Jordan of Merced, CA and Nicholas of Troy, TX, two very close care providers; Kirsten and Shannon.

Jacquelyn S. Welsch

Age 67, of Oscoda, MI died on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Tendercare Nursing Home. She was born in Harrisville, MI on September 4, 1945 to the late George and Ruby Wissmiller (nee Stewart). Jackie attended the Oscoda High School. She worked at the AuSable Inn and the Oscoda Big Boy Restaurant. She traveled with her husband to several military installations. Jackie was active in the military wives club and enjoyed tole painting and quilting.  She married Kenneth Welsch on January 27, 1968 in Oscoda, MI. Jackie is survived by her husband Kenneth of Oscoda, MI and two sons; Donald of Portland, OR and Steven of El Paso, TX.  Additionally two brothers; Melvin of Marlette, MI, George of Twinning, MI and three sisters; Ruth of Oscoda, MI, Elaine of Flint, MI, Linda of AuGres, MI, two granddaughters; Alyssa of Merced, CA and Alexis of Alexandra, VA, three grandsons; Shane of Trenton, TX, Jordan of Merced, CA and Nicholas of Troy, TX, two very close care providers; Kirsten and Shannon.  Jackie was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy, and three sisters, Phyllis, Shirley and Sharron. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 – 2 pm at the Community of Christ Church, 3155 E. F-30 in Mikado, MI with Pastor Richard Karsen (ret) officiating.
