Survived By: Virginia is survived by her husband, Ronald Gibbs of Caro; three children, Peggy Matthews of Caro, Rick Putman and his wife, Jeanne of Caro, Shelley Heckroth and her husband, Randy of Caro; nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wilma Clink of California and Rebecca Frank of Caro; two brothers, Rudy Fader and his wife, Ruby of Caro and Lee Fader and his wife, Rose of Caro; many nieces and nephews.

Virginia F. Gibbs of Caro, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Covenant Health Care – Cooper in Saginaw.  She was born September 3, 1936 in Caro, the daughter of the late Jeffrey and Beatrice (Gaustic) Fader.  Virginia was employed at the Caro Regional Center for thirty-two years, retiring in 1995.  She was united in marriage with Ronald C. Gibbs on July 10, 1985 in Caro, and he survives her.  She enjoyed being with her grandchildren, playing bingo and being outside in her yard. 

Virginia is survived by her husband, Ronald Gibbs of Caro; three children, Peggy Matthews of Caro, Rick Putman and his wife, Jeanne of Caro, Shelley Heckroth and her husband, Randy of Caro; nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wilma Clink of California and Rebecca Frank of Caro; two brothers, Rudy Fader and his wife, Ruby of Caro and Lee Fader and his wife, Rose of Caro; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, David Robert Graves and Gary Allen Graves; one grandson, Bryan Goslin; one brother, Dick Fader.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2013 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Kim Frank officiating.  In keeping with Virginia’s wishes, cremation will follow the service.  The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home on Thursday, January 13, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the service at 4:00 p.m.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Caro Fire Department Teddy Bear Program.  The family was assisted with these arrangements by the Ransford Collon Funeral Home of Caro.  Friends may share memories, thoughts and prayers online at www.RansfordCollon.com.
