Survived By: Surviving are three children: Shirley Jean Bouza, Frederick Chester (Carole) Kotewa and Kathleen Ann (John) Duletzke, ten grandchildren: Steven Alan Bouza, Michael Alan (Joan) Bouza, Mary Beth Bouza, Laura Lynne Vos, Christopher Alan Kotewa, Teri Lynn (Joe) Vallier, Patrick Paul (Amy) Kotewa, Scott Jonathan (Kerry) Duletzke, Robbie John (Melanie) Duletzke and Kristi Ann (Marty) Schaeding, sixteen great grandchildren: Danielle Marie and Addison Lynne Bouza, Rachel Renee and Ashlyn Olivia Vos, Matthew Robert Kotewa, Paige Carole and Abby Jo Vallier, Kayla Rose and Andrew Patrick Kotewa, Chantel Marie, Breanna Nichole, Matthew Scott and Jordon Scott Duletzke, Leydi Callie and Christian Cade Duletzke and Nicholas John Schaeding. Eugenia was predeceased by a son in-law, Barney Bouza, three sisters: Albina (Jess) Scotten, Irene (Anthony) Swincicki, Dorothy (Andrew) Sabourin and one brother, Jack (Fern) Styn.
Affiliations: She was a member of St. Hyacinth Church, the Rosary/Altar Society and St. Hyacinth Senior Citizens. Eugenia loved to share fond memories of working at Styn's Bar, which her father owned and operated for many years. She enjoyed playing cards with her ladies card club, crosswords and baking her famous pies.

     Mrs. Kotewa passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Bay County Medical Care Facility, age 98.  She was born August 9, 1914 in Bay City to the late John and Violet (Smenczak) Styn.  Eugenia married Chester M. Kotewa on February 22, 1935; he predeceased her on July 13, 1982.  She was a member of St. Hyacinth Church, the Rosary/Altar Society and St. Hyacinth Senior Citizens.  Eugenia loved to share fond memories of working at Styn’s Bar, which her father owned and operated for many years.  She enjoyed playing cards with her ladies card club, crosswords and baking her famous pies.

     The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, January 21, 2013 at 11:00am at St. Hyacinth Church.  Fr. Edward J. Konieczka will celebrate Mass and private interment will be in St.PatrickCemetery.  Friends may call at the church only on Monday from 10:00am until the time of Mass.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to “Family Wishes.”
