Glenn H. Haske, 88, of Reese, died early Thursday morning, January 17, 2013 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility.  He was born on March 29, 1924 in Gilford Township, son of the late Louis and Sophie (Deiner) Haske.  Glenn married the former Alice L. Mawdesley on October 19, 1946 in Mayville.  She preceded him on October 4, 1983.  He had farmed in Gilford Township and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Reese.  Glenn was a faithful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and truly enjoyed his family and loved watching his grandchildren participate in all of their sporting events.  He also enjoyed his many friends along with his friends at Trackside.  Surviving are his children and their spouses, Terry and Jo-Ann Haske of Marlette, Larry and Toby Haske and Sherry and Michael Mossner all of Fairgrove; grandchildren, Tammie and Christopher Kooi, Tiffanie and James Chalenko, Erik and Hannah Haske, Mark Haske, Michelle and Derek Kroeger, Scott Mossner; great grandchildren, Jake and Olivia Chalenko, Emma and Chloe Kooi, Tanner and Landyn Kroeger; sister-in-law, Betty Haske and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his wife Alice and parents, one brother Walter Haske preceded him in death.  Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 21, 2013 from Christ Lutheran Church in Reese.  Pastor Tom Senge will officiate with burial in Gilford Township Cemetery.  Glenn’s family will receive friends at the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 9940 Saginaw Street on Sunday, January 20th from 2-8 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Christ Lutheran Church, Tuscola County Medical Care Facility or the Reese Little League.
