Affiliations: The daughter of the late Clarence and Caroline (Bastedo) Kissane, Kay was born January 16, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Ronald G. Kelly on June 20, 1959. He predeceased her January 8, 2010. Kay was employed as a manager for Midwest Mortgage Reporting Company until her retirement. She was of the Catholic faith. Kay loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her great joy.

 Beloved mother and grandmother passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Schnepp Nursing Home in St. Louis, Michigan following a courageous 10 year battle with Alzheimer’s. Age 72 years. The daughter of the late Clarence and Caroline (Bastedo) Kissane, Kay was born January 16, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Ronald G. Kelly on June 20, 1959. He predeceased her January 8, 2010. Kay was employed as a manager for Midwest Mortgage Reporting Company until her retirement. She was of the Catholic faith. Kay loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her great joy.

 Surviving are two daughters and their spouses, Terri and Chris Grierson, Saginaw; Tammy and Bill Falardeau, Midland; four grandchildren, Mollie and Megan Grierson, Rachel and Jack Falardeau; a sister, Donna Armstrong, Carrollton; several nieces and nephews.

 Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2013 at St. George Catholic Church. Rev. Jose Maria Cabrera will officiate. Honoring Mrs. Kelly’s wishes, cremation will follow. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and at St. George Catholic Church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service, led by Sister Margo Tafoya, MSSp, will take place 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Michigan Chapter or the charity of their choice.
