           Brian Petri, 36, of Standish, Mich., passed away January 17, 2013.

            Brian was born in West Branch, Mich. on June 2, 1976, the son of Judy Sheehan and the late Lonnie Petri. He married Brandy Tyson in 2002, and together the couple began raising their family with two boys, John Petri and Jeffery Petri.

            Brian was employed as a manager with Turner Bean and Grain for 18 years prior to his death. Brian loved his job and his co-workers very much at Turner Bean and Grain.  During his off-time, Brian loved hunting, bowling, fishing, and playing video games, but most of all he loved spending time with his wife and boys. A considerate, generous, compassionate, loving parent, Brian will be missed by all those whose lives he has touched through his many caring ways.

            Besides his wife, Brandy and boys, John and Jeffrey, Brian will be deeply missed by his mother, Judy Sheehan; siblings, Jeff (Brenda) Petri, Richard (Carrie) Petri, Colleen (Robert Butts) Petri, and Randy (Sue Ann) Sheehan; father-and-mother-in law, James and Margaret Tyson; brothers-in-law, Bryan (Barb) Allen, James (Kaulana) Tyson, Jr., Thomas (Cheyene) Tyson and Steven (Mary) Tyson; grandmother, Lucy Scott; and many more nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

            Visitation for Mr. Petri will be held from 12-8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at C.L. Forshee & Sons Funeral Homes, Inc., Twining Chapel. Mr. Petri will lie in state from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 23 at the Twining Chapel with services at 11 a.m. Pastor Lee Bennett, of Whittemore Baptist Church, will officiate with cremation following.

            In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family.
