Survived By: He is survived by his children/stepchildren; Lesia (John) Wyatt, Alma (John) Gibson, George Jr. (Janet Sue) Klintworth, Kenneth (Norma) Klintworth, Walter (Tina) Klintworth, and Lois (Lewis) Settlage, a daughter in law Linda Burwell, 39 grandchildren, 78 great grandchildren, and 15 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Nellett age, 89, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 at Eaton Community Palliative Care.  He was born on February 3, 1923 in Munger, Michigan to the late Henry & Mary (Popczyski) Nellett.  He married the former Virginia Carpenter at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  Francis was a member of St. Mary Nine Mile Catholic Church.  He served as an usher for 49 years, was a Eucharistic Minister for 30 years, and was also a 4th degree Knight.  He was a dairy farmer and worked at Monitor Sugar for 42 years, if he wasn’t at work you would find him at home doing any type of work he could find.  He is survived by his children/stepchildren; Lesia (John) Wyatt, Alma (John) Gibson, George Jr. (Janet Sue) Klintworth, Kenneth (Norma) Klintworth, Walter (Tina) Klintworth, and Lois (Lewis) Settlage, a daughter in law Linda Klintworth, 39 grandchildren, 78 great grandchildren, and 15 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Francis was predeceased in death by his wife on November 13, 2012, a son John Klintworth, three grandchildren, a daughter and son in law Shirley & John McIntire, a sister Elizabeth Obertine, brothers, Lewis, Alfred, and Chester Nellett.

 

Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 11 am from St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Joseph Miller presiding with burial in St. Mary’s Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home on Monday from 4 to 8 pm.  A Prayer Vigil will be held at 7 pm with a Chalice Presentation from the Bishop Murphy Assembly 4091 to follow with a K of C Bible Presentation.  On Tuesday Francis will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of service.  The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the Eaton Community Palliative Care for the compassionate care given to Francis and his family.  In lieu of flowers those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Eaton Community Palliative Care.
