Whyte, Evelyn V. (Ouillette)

Pinconning, Michigan

Mrs. Whyte age 95, died Friday January 18, 2013 at Linwood Residences.  Evelyn was born in Pinconning on January 17, 1918 to the late Peter and Katherine (Arquette) Ouillette.  She married Bernard Whyte on May 3, 1938 in Pinconning, he preceded her in death in 2003.  Evelyn was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church and altar society.    Mrs. Whyte is survived by her children: Gary Whyte of Bay City, Catherine & Durwood  Perrou of Linwood, and Lawrence “Butch” and Paula Whyte of NC.  Also surviving are grandchildren: Jennifer Hensley of FL, Michael Whyte of Bay City, Heather Rogozinski of FL, Dan Perrou of Linwood, Amy White of MA, and Beth Perrou of Wales, Great Britain, 9 great grandchildren.  A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday January 21, 2013 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Pinconning.  Father Richard Jozwiak will officiate with Rite of Committal in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Pinconning.  The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service.  The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Parmer, Randy Schmidt and the staff of Linwood Residences for their loving care of Evelyn.  Those considering an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Linwood Residences or St. Anne Society at St. Michael’s Catholic Church.  To sign online guestbook visit www.hyattewald.com.
