Survived By: 2 daughters, Kellie Nichols and Jennifer (Dan) Mathey; grandchildren, Toni (Nick) Evans, Kaitlyn and Brayden Mathey; great grandchildren, Alexander Nichols, Madison and Dylan Evans, who brought her a lot of joy; sisters in law, Helen Becker, Mary Dittmar, Doris Jones, Barbara (Robert) Krzywonsinski; many nieces and nephews.
Affiliations: After her husband passed away, she enjoyed gambling and casino trip with friends, fishing, bowling, dancing in the kitchen, camping, traveling, playing cards, spending time with her family and friends…anything and everything. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her Red Hat's Chapter, the Wonderettes. She was a 1959 graduate of Saginaw High School and a long time member of Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. She retired from Michigan National Bank with 33 years of service

NICHOLS, Patricia Ann – of Birch Run, age 71, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at her home surrounded by family after a long struggle with cancer. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Assumption BVM Catholic Church in Bridgeport. Rev. John Sarge officiating. Burial will be at Cook Cemetery. Friends may call at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run on Friday from 2-8PM where a vigil service will be held at 6 PM. She will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 10 AM until time of mass at 11 AM. Contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

 
Patricia was born on December 28, 1941 in Grand Rapids to the late Leonard and Marion (Thomas) Becker. She married Harvey “Jim” Nichols on May 20, 1961. He preceded her in death on November 16, 2004. They enjoyed life together to the fullest: fishing, bowling, dancing in the kitchen, camping, traveling, playing cards, spending time with her family and friends…anything and everything. After her husband passed away, she enjoyed gambling and casino trip with friends. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her Red Hat’s Chapter, the Wonderettes. She was a 1959 graduate of Saginaw High School and a long time member of Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. She retired from Michigan National Bank with 33 years of service.

She was also preceded in death by: 2 brothers, Tom Becker and Leonard Becker; and a sister, Carolyn Gumm.
