Affiliations: He was a member of the Clio Community of Christ Church and the Farwell VFW Post 3039. Bob enjoyed playing his steel guitar, golfing, hunting, Detroit Tigers and spending time with his family and friends.

SPICER, Robert D. "Bob"- of Clio, age 81, died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Community of Christ Church in Clio. Evangelist Rodney Colmus officiating. Burial in Surrey Twp. Cemetery in Farwell. Friends may call at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Funeral Home in Clio on Friday from 1-4PM and 5-8PM. He will lie in-state at the church on Saturday from 12 PM until time of services at 1 PM. Contributions may be made to the family or Community of Christ Church.

 

Robert was born on July 23, 1931 in South Lyon, MI to the late Floyd and Myrtle (Wahl) Spicer. He married Betty Wilkie on August 19, 1955. Robert served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from Buick in 1988 and was a member of the UAW Local # 599. Bob was previously employed at Thayer Dairy in Clare. He was a member of the Clio Community of Christ Church and the Farwell VFW Post 3039. Bob enjoyed playing his steel guitar, golfing, hunting, Detroit Tigers and spending time with his family and friends.
