Survived By: He is survived by his 2 children Tina & Jerry Shaw and Michael & Shelly Groulx and their mother Nancy (Spyhalski) Groulx; 5 grandchildren Sarah, Calyb and Connor Shaw, Kaylei & Kyle Groulx; his parents, 2 sisters Marlene & David Wolkens and Debbie Jay Jordan; a brother Gary & Sue Groulx and a hunting and good friend Tom Gregory., also, nieces & nephews and many friends.

Our beloved father, son, grandfather and brother and friend went to be with his Lord on Saturday January 26, 2013 following a courageous battle with cancer. “ Your Strength and courage during your battle was admirable and the strength you displayed will be remembered always by your loving family”. He was born in Bay City on January 13, 1953 to  Bernard & Kathleen ( Rau) Groulx, who survives him. He was raised in Munger and was a hard worker employed at Causley Trucking for 38 years. He was an avid outdoors man and love hunting and fishing with his family and friends.

He is survived by his 2 children Tina & Jerry Shaw and Michael & Shelly Groulx and their mother Nancy (Spyhalski) Groulx; 5 grandchildren Sarah, Calyb and Connor Shaw, Kaylei & Kyle Groulx; his parents, 2 sisters Marlene & David Wolkens and Debbie Jay Jordan; a brother Gary & Sue Groulx and a hunting and good friend Tom Gregory., also, nieces & nephews and many friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 29, 2013 at 6 pm from Rivertown Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ron Compton presiding. Friend may call at the funeral chapel on Tuesday from 2 to time of services. The family would like to extend a special “Thank you” to the staff of Heartland Hospice; especially Dawn, Jennifer, Ron and Morgan. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund or the wishes of the family.
