Survived By: Pat is survived by her loving husband, Harold "Ski" Janiszewski of West Branch, daughter, Linda Janiszewski of Traverse City, son, Mark Janiszewski of Lummi Island, WA, daughter, Ruth Janiszewski of Bradenton, FL, grandchildren, Masaru, Miari, Cara Jo and 2 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is sister, Jan (Lee) Cardwell of Memphis, TN and aunt, Kay Merrifield of Ohio. She is preceded in death by parents, John and Ruth Conaway and brother, Glenn Conaway.
Affiliations: She worked as a Civil Servant for the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. Pat was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Red Hat Society, Book Club at the Library, local sewing group and was Past President of the U.M.W. She was also manager of Senior Citizen Center and was a Lecturer for Weight Watchers for more than 25 years. She loved travelling, sewing, and was known for her homemade bread and dill pickles
Patricia M. “Pat” Janiszewski age 82 of West Branch, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City. Pat was born on June 22, 1930 in Folsom, WV, the daughter of John and Ruth Conaway. She had lived in West Branch since 1973. She worked as a Civil Servant for the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. Pat was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Red Hat Society, Book Club at the Library, local sewing group and was Past President of the U.M.W. She was also manager of Senior Citizen Center and was a Lecturer for Weight Watchers for more than 25 years. She loved travelling, sewing, and was known for her homemade bread and dill pickles.

Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 3-9 pm. Pat will lie in state on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at First United Methodist Church from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Rev. Lisa Cook will officiate.
