Survived By: her husband Gary of 30 years are her two children, Cody (Nick) Mohr, Parker (Sarah) O'Deay all of Saginaw; grandson, Hayden O'Deay of Saginaw; sisters, Sally (Dennis) Palmreuter of Richville, Sue Ann (Jerry) Ellison of Reese; sister-in-law, Alice (Rick) Lynch of Au Gres; special friends, Barb Barnes and Kelly Fischer; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and her dog Bella.

Deborah J. “Debbie” O’Deay, 58, of Saginaw, died Sunday morning, January 27, 2013 at her home with her family at her side.  She was born on January 29, 1954 in Saginaw, daughter of the late Clair G. and Gloria J. (Engelhart) Comer.  Debbie attended Reese schools and graduated from Reese High in 1972.  She married Gary O’Deay on July 15, 1982 in Saginaw.  She was employed with Oakwood Mausoleum for the past 14 years.  Debbie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whom enjoyed cooking, shopping, gardening, bingo and spending time with her grandson and family.  Surviving in addition to her husband Gary of 30 years are her two children, Cody (Nick) Mohr, Parker (Sarah) O’Deay all of Saginaw; grandson, Hayden O’Deay of Saginaw; sisters, Sally (Dennis) Palmreuter of Richville, Sue Ann (Jerry) Ellison of Reese; sister-in-law, Alice (Rick) Lynch of Au Gres; special friends, Barb Barnes and Kelly Fischer; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and her dog Bella.  In addition to her parents, one brother, Edward Comer preceded her in death.  A memorial service will take place at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 2, 2013 from the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 9940 Saginaw Street, Reese with Rev. John Pohanka officiating.  Debbie’s family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the O’Deay family.
