Survived By: Earl is survived by one son and his wife, Earl J. & Sherry Scott; one daughter, Carol & Rob Parker; two grandchildren, Amanda & Mike Janisse and Tim & Crystal Scott; one great-granddaughter, Catie Janisse; one great-grandson, Callen Scott; three sisters, Vera Jean, Dorothy Scott and Patricia Greene. He is also survived by many extended family members. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, Donald and Clarence Scott.

Earl W. Scott, recently of Caro and formerly of Pinnebog, age 89, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Heritage Hill Assisted Living in Caro.  He was born July 11, 1923 in Detroit, the son of the late Earl James and Vera (Casey) Scott.   Earl, a veteran of World War II, was united in marriage with the former Arlene Smukala on June 16, 1949. They had celebrated sixty-one years of marriage when she preceded him in death on August 25, 2010.  Earl was a farmer, business owner, Hume Township Clerk and a retired welding teacher from Kinde North Huron School.  He was an avid hunter and gun collector and enjoyed playing cards with friends.  He loved gadgets of many kinds, especially CB radios and computers.

Earl is survived by one son and his wife, Earl J. & Sherry Scott; one daughter, Carol & Rob Parker; two grandchildren, Amanda & Mike Janisse and Tim & Crystal Scott; one great-granddaughter, Catie Janisse; one great-grandson, Callen Scott; three sisters, Vera Jean, Dorothy Scott and Patricia Greene.  He is also survived by many extended family members.  In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, Donald and Clarence Scott.

In keeping with Earl’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
