Survived By: One daughter and two sons, Sherry (Daniel) Brandi of Marshall, MI and Homestead, FL, Donald C. (Linda) Jewell of Hemlock, and Richard H. Jewell and his girlfriend Lisa of Saginaw; a son-in-law Norman "Butch" Shafer, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and a very special niece Marilyn (Charlie) Lefler.

Passed away Monday January 28, 2013 at the age of 95 years.  Marion Elizabeth Anger was born October 13, 1917 in Saginaw to the late Harold and Elizabeth (Engel) Anger.  She married Clyde E. Jewell August 8, 1936.  He predeceased her April 15, 1988.  She made her home with her son Don and his wife Linda in Hemlock for nearly eight years.  Marion was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.  She was also an avid reader.    
Surviving are one daughter and two sons, Sherry (Daniel) Brandi of Marshall, MI and Homestead, FL, Donald C. (Linda) Jewell of Hemlock, and Richard H. Jewell and his girlfriend Lisa of Saginaw; a son-in-law Norman "Butch" Shafer, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and a very special niece Marilyn (Charlie) Lefler.  Marion was predeceased by her daughter Sandra Shafer and her brother Lewis A. Anger.
The family would like to thank VNA Hospice and Hospice of Hope for their compassionate care.
Funeral service will take place 11AM Friday February 1, 2013 at the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home, 1550 S. Midland Rd. (S. M-47).  Rev. Mark Buckert will officiate with interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  Friends are welcome to gather with the family on Thursday from 4PM until 8PM, and on Friday one hour before the funeral.  Memorial offerings are suggested to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or the Saginaw Childrens Zoo.
