Margaret A. Crispien
Bay City, Michigan
Margaret “Margie” Crispien passed away suddenly Monday January 28, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region age 75 years. Daughter of the late Lawrence and Lottie (Piotrowski) Sim, she was born August 10, 1937 in Bay City. After graduation from Bay City Central High School she attended Alma College. After finishing school, she taught dance classes and had worked with various Doctors in the area. Margaret married Donald W. Crispien on October 23, 1967 in Biloxi, Mississippi and he survives her. Margaret was an avid Detroit Tigers fan, enjoyed watching football (even the Detroit Lions), working in the garden and loved her cats.
Surviving, besides her husband Don, she leaves two sons; Robert (Raquel) Crispien, Kevin Crispien, and one granddaughter, Adriana, all from Bay City; one aunt, Jeannie Cummings from Florida and several cousins. Also, surviving is her lifelong childhood friend, Loretta Rozek of Kawkawlin, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Lottie Sim, of Bay City.
The Funeral and committal service will take place Friday February 1, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. from the Ambrose Funeral Home. Fr. Edward J. Konieczka will officiate with private burial in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ambrose Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider family wishes.
