Survived By: Surviving besides her husband, Michael is a son Nicholas L. Sharp, her mother, Delores Shank, two brothers, Dennis Shank and Randy (Nancy) Shank, two sisters, Becky (Mark) Larive and Debbie (Dick) Green, two brothers in-law, John (Kim) Sharp and Neil Sharp, many nieces and nephews. Marlette was predeceased by her father, Lawrence Shank, mother in-law, Mildred Lincoln and a sister in-law, Mary Shank.
Affiliations: Marlette enjoyed working in her yard and flowers. She often had neighbors stop and comment on how beautiful her flowers were. She also loved to visit and share stories with her neighbors and family.

     Marlette passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region, age 61.  The daughter of Lawrence and Delores (Rinz) Shank, she was born in Bay City on October 8, 1951.  She married Michael R. Sharp on October 9, 1971 and he survives her.  Marlette enjoyed working in her yard and flowers.  She often had neighbors stop and comment on how beautiful her flowers were.  She also loved to visit and share stories with her neighbors and family.    

     Surviving besides her husband, Michael is a son Nicholas L. Sharp, her mother, Delores Shank, two brothers, Dennis Shank and Randy (Nancy) Shank, two sisters, Becky (Mark) Larive and Debbie (Dick) Green, two brothers in-law, John (Kim) Sharp and Neil Sharp, many nieces and nephews.  Marlette was predeceased by her father, Lawrence Shank, mother in-law, Mildred Lincoln and a sister in-law, Mary Shank.

     Per Marlette’s request.  Cremation has taken place.  Family and friends will gather at the Squires Funeral Home on Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 1:00 to 6:00pm.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to McLaren Hospice or Crohn’s Disease.
