Survived By: Surviving are four children; Rick (Mary), Robert (Margie) Dryzga, Liz (Greg) Diebolt, Carol (Jim) VanOchten, eight grandchildren; Sara (Tyler) Hougaboom, Abby (Eric) Briggs, Jill (Tom) Lebrun, Jay (Vicki) Dryzga, Diedra & Darcy Diebolt, Kyle (Aubrey) VanOchten, Kirk VanOchten and his fiancÚ Kaitlyn and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister; Evie Pacynski, a sister in-law; Frances Pawlicki and a brother in-law; Floyd (Lucille) Dryzga.
Affiliations: Mary was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Rosary/Altar Society group # 2, Senior Citizens, Felician Sister's Auxiliary and the League of Catholic Women and Men.

Mary Dryzga passed away peacefully in her sleep Thursday morning January 31, 2013 at the Bay Medical Care Facility age 95 years.  Daughter of the late Frank and Barbara (Markiewicz) Pawlicki, she was born December 8, 1917 in Bay City.  She married Bert L. Dryzga January 15, 1947 in St. Hyacinth Church.  He predeceased her November 13, 1974.  Mary was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Rosary/Altar Society group # 2, Senior Citizens, Felician Sister’s Auxiliary and the League of Catholic Women and Men. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and playing bingo and reading.

 

Surviving are four children; Rick (Mary), Robert (Margie) Dryzga, Liz (Greg) Diebolt, Carol (Jim) VanOchten, eight grandchildren; Sara (Tyler) Hougaboom, Abby (Eric) Briggs, Jill (Tom) Lebrun, Jay (Vicki) Dryzga, Diedra & Darcy Diebolt, Kyle (Aubrey) VanOchten, Kirk VanOchten and his fiancé Kaitlyn and six great-grandchildren.  Also surviving is one sister; Evie Pacynski, a sister in-law; Frances Pawlicki and a brother in-law; Floyd (Lucille) Dryzga.  She was predeceased by two sisters and a brother; Jean Lagden, Dora Herek and Frank Pawlicki.

 

The family would like to thank all the staff on 2 – West at the Bay Medical Care Facility for all the loving care that was given to our mother.

 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday February 4, 2013 at 12:30p.m. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.  Fr. Rick Filary will officiate with burial in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church only on Monday from 11:30a.m. until time of mass.  Members of St. Stanislaus Rosary/Altar Society, Senior Citizens and the Felician Sister’s Auxiliary will pray the rosary at 11:45 a.m. Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider family wishes.
