Rondo, Marguerite Emma

            Passed away Friday, February 1, 2013, at home at the age of 84.

            The daughter of the late Fred and Frances (Cicotte) Voelker was born on September 20, 1928, in Saginaw.  She married George A. Rondo on November 5, 1949; he predeceased her on December 19, 1999.  She  was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, canning, making her own greeting cards, and baking.  She was a very easy person to love and was liked by all who knew her.

            Surviving are two daughters and one son; Lou Ann (Robert) Lecznar, Michael (Sharyn) Rondo, Shelby (Roger) Lavrack, six grandchildren, Charles, Rebecca (Jeff), Christopher, Eric (Paula), Kyle, and Kady, great-grandchildren; Michele , Steven, Mikayla, Hannah, Logan, Christina, Patricia, Thomas, Caleb, and one on the way, dear sister-in-law Phyllis Rondo.  She was predeceased by 2 sisters; Wahnetah and Louetta and a friend that was like a sister, Joan Walters.

            Funeral service will take place at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway.  Fr. Tom Schmeid will officiate with cremation to follow.  Friends may visit with the family  on Tuesday at the funeral chapel, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Covenant VNA Hospice.
