Milan E. Box, 72, of Turner, Mich., passed away suddenly February 1, 2013 at his home in Turner, Mich.
Mr. Box was born September 7, 1940 in Turner Twp. to the late Starling and Margaret (Herr) Box.
Mr. Box proudly served in the United States Army from January 1962 until his honorable discharge from active duty in January 1965.
Mr. Box is survived by his daughters, Rosemary (John) Kaufman, Rebecca (Troy) Sabo, Lori Edmonds, and Chanda (Jeff) Stutts; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; sisters, Coralee (Don) Haas, Eleanor (William) Grauherr; brother, Nowell (Stephanie) Box; sister-in-law, Patricia Box; and several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all.
Besides his parents, Mr. Box was predeceased by his loving wife, Linda Box; daughter, Christine Wesley; brother, Starling “Bud” Box.
Visitation for Mr. Box will take place 12-8 p.m. Tues., Feb. 5th at the C.L. Forshee & Sons Funeral Homes, Inc., Twining Chapel. Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6th at the funeral home with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Pastor Marcel Lamb will officiate with interment following in Cedar Valley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
