Survived By: Surviving besides his wife, Betty are their children and spouses, Kevin (Dawn) Wiles, Kenneth (Nellie) Wiles and Karen (Hector) McKinnon; grandchildren, Tina Powell, April Mallory, Gordie McKinnon, Paige McKinnon, Max McKinnon, Melissa Radabaugh, Leslie Maher and Tim Niezurawski; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Fern (Lenny) Rhae; brother, Steve Wiles and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by a brother, Clarence Wiles and a sister, Ann Wagoner.

Passed away Thursday morning, February 7, 2013 at Covenant Medical Center – Harrison in Saginaw. Age 77 years. Gordon was born December 13, 1935 in Saginaw to Clarence and Clarabell (Vivian) Wiles. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Gordon married Betty Jones on August 30, 1958. She survives him. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Chesaning, former member of Wolverine Sportsman Club and chairman at Local 455 UAW. Gordon enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and attending their grandchildren’s activities. He retired from Saginaw Malleable Iron.

 Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2013 at Kendall Funeral Home, St. Charles. Rev. Joel Thomford will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
