Survived By: Surviving besides his wife Molly and mother Joanne are; children, Virginia (Nicholas) Miller of St. Charles, MI, Peter (Amanda) Weston of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Katie and Patrick Miller; sister, Carla Jo Weston of Lapeer, MI, brother, Frederick (Kathie) Weston of Lapeer, MI and many nieces and nephews.
Affiliations: Harry was a graduate of MSU and SVSU. He was employed by Frankenmuth Public Schools as a teacher and coach for 30 years until his retirement in 2005. Harry was inducted into the MHSAA Football Coaches Hall of Fame, and was a member of Michigan Sports Sages.

Loving husband, father, grandfather and coach, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the Lutheran Home of Frankenmuth, after a battle with cancer; age 63 years.  Harry was born on January 4, 1950 in Flint, MI to Joanne and Carl Weston.  Harry was a graduate of Lapeer High School Class of 1968.  He was married to Molly Fitzpatrick on August 13, 1976 in Lapeer Michigan; she survives him.  Harry was a graduate of MSU and SVSU.  He was employed by Frankenmuth Public Schools as a teacher and coach for 30 years until his retirement in 2005.  Harry was inducted into the MHSAA Football Coaches Hall of Fame, and was a member of Michigan Sports Sages.

 

Surviving besides his wife Molly and mother Joanne are; children, Virginia (Nicholas) Miller of St. Charles, MI, Peter (Amanda) Weston of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Katie and Patrick Miller; sister, Carla Jo Weston of Lapeer, MI, brother, Frederick (Kathie) Weston of Lapeer, MI and many nieces and nephews.

 

Harry was preceded in death by his father, Carl Weston.

 

Memorial services will take place on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Bronner’s Performing Arts Center, 525 E. Genesee, Frankenmuth, MI, Rev. Joel Ehlert will officiate.  Cremation has taken place.  Harry’s family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N.
