Survived By: He is survived by his wife; Marilyn, one daughter; Deidre ( Cliff ) Davis of Gulf Port, MS., one son; Derrick ( Angela ) Duhe of Baker, LA., by his mother; Mildred Duhe of Baton Rouge, LA. Also surviving are brothers and sisters; Gwen ( Leslie ) Grooms, Denice ( Derrick ) Allred, Jackie ( Lawrence ) Cutts and Lisa ( Clint ) Robinson all of St. Louis, MO., Cynthia ( Anthony ) Harris of Virgina Beach, VA., Byron ( Debbie ) Duhe of Lansing and brother in law Harvey Holloway of St. Louis, MO.,by his step-mother Thelma Duhe of St. Louis, MO. grandchildren; Ayreon Davis, Darius Davis, Wisdom Duhe, Ruby Duhe and Handsome Duhe. In addition to his father CJ was predeceased by his sister; Sondra Holloway.

Cyril J. “ CJ “ Duhe Jr. 74 years of Midland died early Thursday morning February 7, 2013 at the Mid-Michigan Regional Center. He was born on March 19, 1938 in Louisiana son of Mildred ( Edwards ) Duhe and the late Cyril J. Duhe Sr.

 

CJ attended Southeran University , and had worked at the Dow Chemical Co. for 31 years in Records Management, retiring from there in 1995. CJ married the former Marilyn Everley on December 23, 1976 in Wakarusa, Indiana. He was an avid bowler in the Midland area and is in the Midland Bowling Hall Of Fame. CJ  greatly enjoyed coaching youth bowling, and enjoyed golfing.

 

He is survived by his wife; Marilyn, one daughter; Deidre ( Cliff ) Davis of Gulf Port, MS., one son; Derrick ( Angela ) Duhe of Baker, LA., by his mother; Mildred Duhe of Baton Rouge, LA. Funeral services for CJ will take place at 11:00 A.M. Monday February 11, 2013 from the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home 1200 W. Wheeler St., Rev. Art Smith will officiate with burial in Midland City Cemetery. CJ’s family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.  and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Church Of The Brethren or the Valley All- Star Youth Bowling at 5021 Bay City Rd. Full military honors will be presented by the Midland Area Veterans and the Dept. of The U.S. Army.
