VILLARREAL, ANGELITA M.
Age 90 years, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Carriage House of Bay City. Angelita was born August 2, 1922 to Tomas and Mary Aviles in Monterey, Mexico. She married Guadalupe Villarreal on May 10, 1943 who predeceased her on November 20, 1970. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, and she loved crocheting, sewing, bingo, and cooking.
Surviving are her six children: Gloria Villarreal, Mary Whyte, Maria (Russell) Rice, Christina (John) Torres, Tom (JoAnn) Villarreal, Rose (Gary) Wojciechowski; 18 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Rudy Aviles.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 10:00 am in St. Joseph Church (1005 Third St, Bay City). Angelita will lie in state in church Thursday after 9:00am. Rev. Dale A. Orlik will preside and interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be designated for the “Wishes of the Family”. Visiting hours with the family will be Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:30pm; on Wednesday from 2:00 until 8:30 with the Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 pm in the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel.
