Doug Deyarmond
Rhodes, Michigan
Doug, age 50 loving husband, father, son, brother and friend passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 at Tendercare in Clare, Michigan. He was born on August 14, 1962 in Bay City, Michigan to Charles & Donna (Krevinghaus) Deyarmond. He married the former Denise Downen on May 27, 1983 in Bay City, Michigan. She survives him. Doug was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, the sexton for the church cemetery and was also on the building committee. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, riding his quad but most of all spending time with his family and going to family gatherings. Surviving besides his wife of 29 years are their children; Amy Deyarmond & future son-in-law Jeremey Schalk, Carrie and Emily Deyarmond, his mother Donna Deyarmond, brothers and sisters David (Marian) Deyarmond, Charlotte Groat, Richard (Suzanne) Deyarmond, Darlene (Russell) LaFave and Delores Deyarmond, brother-in-law Jay (Dawn) Downen, sister-in-laws; Linda Downen, Judy (Dave) Ionetz, mother-in-law Christine Downen, and father-in-law John Downen and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, and two brothers Dan and Tom Deyarmond.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 15, 2013 at 11 am from Hope Lutheran Church with Pastor Reed Schroer presiding with burial in Hope Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 to 8 pm. On Friday Doug will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of service.
