Survived By: On September 24, 1954 he married the former Margaret A. Nusz who survives him along with their daughter, Cynthia Kelly; three grandsons: Brandan (Laurie) Morris, Robert (Christina) Morris, and Kelly (Takia) Morris; great-grandchildren: Sydney, Amiah, Jailyn, Makayla, Jeremiah, Keziah, and Devontray; two sisters: Helen Dishaw and Barbara (Michael) Pawlaczyk; his special nephew, Kelly Dishaw; along with many other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and his wife, James M. (Pauline) Kelly; and his brother-in-law, Moses Dishaw.
Affiliations: Thomas was employed with GM-Saginaw Steering Gear for 32 years before retiring in 1985. He was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church and the U.A.W. Local #699.

Age 78 years, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in McLaren Bay Region.  He was born to the late Thomas T. and Willie Belle (Easley) Kelly on July 5, 1934 in Braden, TN.  Thomas was employed with GM-Saginaw Steering Gear for 32 ½ years before retiring in 1985.  He was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and the U.A.W. Local #699.

 

On September 24, 1954 he married the former Margaret A. Nusz who survives him along with their daughter, Cynthia Kelly; three grandsons: Brandan (Laurie) Morris, Robert (Christina) Morris, and Kelly (Takia) Morris; great-grandchildren: Sydney, Amiah, Jailyn, Makayla, Jeremiah, Keziah, and Devontray; two sisters: Helen Dishaw and Barbara (Michael) Pawlaczyk; his special nephew, Kelly Dishaw; along with many other nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and his wife, James M. (Pauline) Kelly; and his brother-in-law, Moses Dishaw.

 

The Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM in St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 206 Scheurmann St., Essexville.  Thomas will lie in state in church Monday after 10:00 AM.  Rev. Eric A. Stone will officiate and interment will follow in Floral Gardens Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Luke’s United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.  Visiting hours are Sunday 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the W.
