Pleasant; Richard and Bette Holbrook, Birch Run; three grandchildren, Melissa (Rob) Eugeni, Michael Holbrook and Nathan Holbrook; four great-grandchildren, Michael, Calvin, Andre and Brielle; a sister, Adella and Richard Hillert, Florida; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Malone, Birch Run; several nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Affiliations: Helen was born February 8, 1924 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Raymond A. Holbrook on January 13, 1945. He predeceased her in June 18, 2005. Helen was a member of Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church, Bridgeport and St. James Catholic Church, Houghton Lake. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting and playing cards. Most of all, Helen loved spending time with her family.

 Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Age 89 years. Helen was born February 8, 1924 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Raymond A. Holbrook on January 13, 1945. He predeceased her in June 18, 2005. Helen was a member of Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church, Bridgeport and St. James Catholic Church, Houghton Lake. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting and playing cards. Most of all, Helen loved spending time with her family.

 Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church, 7877 Bell Road in Bridgeport. Rev. Fr. John S. Sarge will officiate. Honoring Mrs. Holbrook’s wishes, cremation will follow. There will be no visiting hours at the funeral home. Friends may call at Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church where the family will be present on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Assumption B.V.M.
