Betty Ann Muncey (Nichols) of Prescott, passed away February 18, 2013. She was born October 31, 1937.
Betty was born in Alpena, MI to Jesse and Eva Muncey. Betty worked hard all her life she worked two jobs and also raised her two kids Linda and James.
In her early years she worked at West Branch Tube Co. as a Quality Control Inspector after shop hours she tended bar and served tables at Sterling Hotel Bar (always with a smile). In Betty's middle years she worked and owned Betty's Mobile Gas Station in Rose city and Hale after the Mobile Station she worked at Darton Bow in Hale. In Betty's later years she worked at Village Inn of Prescott. In the midst of all of her jobs Betty always had time for her family and friends.
Betty enjoyed bowling, camping and loved singing her signature songs which were Your Cheating Heart and Jumbalia. When Betty talked about her Linda, Jessie, Melissa, James and his family she would get a light in her eyes, you could not help but to smile. She also adored Tony who helped watch Melissa when Linda and Jessie could not be there.
I would like to quote a special saying that was said to me for Betty. "Loved you yesterday, Love you still, always have and always will." You will be remembered in our hearts forever.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Eva Muncey; two sisters, Helen Guy and Irene Nichols and one brother, Bob Muncey. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Nichols of Prescott, her son, James Nichols (Angie) of Springhill, Florida.
