Max E. Hubble, 74 of Coleman, passed away peacefully, Wednesday February 20, 2013, with his family by his side. Max worked 30 years at Chemical Leaman, Midland. He has always had a passion for farming, restoring tractors, and for collecting toy John Deere Tractors.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Madalyn Hubble of Coleman, 5 children: Laurie (Tim) Spicer of Lake, Stacey (Denny) Stubbs of Coleman, Mike Hubble of Coleman, Amy Rhode of Shepherd, Jason (Amber) Hubble of Beaverton, 4 step-children: Joyce Rhodes of Muskegon, Joel (Kathy) Rhodes of Clare, Janice (Gerrod) Brown of Midland, and Jerry (Tara) Rhodes of Beaverton. He also leaves behind 3 brothers and a sister: June Herkel of Coleman, Ray (Nancy) Hubble of Coleman, Keith (Diane) Hubble of Coleman and Jack (Rosa) Hubble of Mt. Pleasant, 25 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. Max is predeceased by his father, Russell, mother, Florence (Eagly), one sister, Elaine Starkey, one son, Steve Hubble and one granddaughter Laiken Rhode.
Funeral and committal services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday February 24, 2013 at the Faith United Methodist Church, 203 Jefferson Street, Coleman, with Rev. Caroline Hart officiating. Burial will take place in the Riverlawn Cemetery, Denver Township, Isabella County. Friends may call at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc., 215 W. Adams Street, Coeman, on Saturday from 2-4 & 6-9pm and Sunday at the church starting at 1 pm until the time of services. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at MidMichigan Medical Center, Midland for their compassionate care.
