Survived By: Surviving besides her husband David are two children, Shawn and Cindy Schneer; Lindsay Schneer and her fiancÚ Calub Colmus; two grandchildren, Kylee and Alicias Schneer; Karen's mother, Rita Gill, Saginaw; two sisters and one brother, Kris Reis, Mike and Pam Gill, Sally and Jack Burt; a brother-in-law, Richard and Leola Schneer; many nieces and nephews. Karen was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jim Reis, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty and Ralph Schneer.
Affiliations: The daughter of Rita (Krys) Gill and the late Robert Gill, Karen was born November 11, 1960 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married David Schneer, her loving husband of 17 years, on January 19, 1996. He survives her. Karen was employed as a Pharmacy Technician for many years. She enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, dancing and everything associated with cruises. Most of all, Karen loved being with her family.

 Beloved wife, daughter and sister passed away suddenly Friday, February 22, 2013. Age 52 years. The daughter of Rita (Krys) Gill and the late Robert Gill, Karen was born November 11, 1960 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married David Schneer, her loving husband of 17 years, on January 19, 1996. He survives her. Karen was employed as a Pharmacy Technician for many years. She enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, dancing and everything associated with cruises. Most of all, Karen loved being with her family.

 Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. James Carlson will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at St. John Vianney Catholic Church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
