Survived By: Surviving besides his wife of 47 years, Sandra are their children and spouses, John Jr. (Sara) Fedder, Krista Herington and fiancÚ Ted Stevens Jr., Jeffrey (Jennifer) Fedder, son-in-law, Daryl Herington, Sr.; four grandchildren, Robin and Garrett Herington, Kristopher and Tyler Fedder; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dick (Nancy) Streeter, Lavern (Brenda) Spolarich, Bill Fuller, Larry (Gina) Knowels and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, infant daughter, Robin Marie, infant grandson, Daryl Herington Jr., a sister Evelyn (Hanafin) Hladick and sister-in-law, Marian Fuller.

Passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 after a lingering illness at Covenant Medical Center – Harrison in Saginaw. Age 66 years. John was born February 20, 1947 in Bluefield, West Virginia to Warren and Phyllis (Coleman) Fedder. He married Sandra Loachridge on September 18, 1965. She survives him. John served his country in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968 during the Vietnam War. He retired from G.M. Plant 4 in 1998. John loved hunting, fishing and playing cards. He belonged to Local 699 UAW and was also active in the Boy Scouts of America, a hunter safety instructor, and a Jaycee Senator.

He was preceded by his parents, infant daughter, Robin Marie, infant grandson, Daryl Herington Jr., a sister Evelyn (Hanafin) Hladick and sister-in-law, Marian Fuller.

 

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2013 at Kendall Funeral Home, St. Charles. Rev. English will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday, March 7th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Boy Scouts or Paralyzed Veterans.
