Richardson, Marcella M. of Bay City, Michigan passed away Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the Rachel Sovereign Home at the age of 94.  Daughter of the late Edmund and Della (Campau) Richardson, Marcella was born May 17, 1915 in Pinconning.  She was united in marriage to Russell Richardson; he preceded her in death in 1984.  Marcella was employed with Sears and Roebuck Co. and the Michigan Haus prior to her retirement.  She was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and a member of its Altar Sodality.   Marcella loved spending time with her family and will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Sherry Hecox, Karen (James) Kuch, and John (Rita) Richardson, all of Bay City, Thomas (Kathleen) Richardson of Au Gres, Gail (Michael) O’Leary of Bay City, and Ann (John) Hebert of Essexville; 21 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.  Besides her husband and parents, Marcella was preceded in death by her grandson Jason Richardson, 3 brothers and 6 sisters.

The Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 22, 2010 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Robert S. Gohm officiating.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Holy Trinity Church or the charity of donor’s choice.
