Mr. Miller, age 87, passed away Tuesday March 2, 2010 at Medilodge of Sterling with his loving family by his side.  He was born to the late William C. & Tillie (Powell) Miller on November 2, 1922 in Pinconning, Michigan.  He was a Veteran of World War II and served in Europe during the war.  He married the former Rosemary Dunnigan on April 12, 1947 at St. John’s Lutheran Church she survives him.  Arnold retired from Dow Chemical Plastic line Pipe Dept.  In his younger days he liked to fish, hunt and play most sports, especially baseball.  Surviving besides his wife of 62 years are his children Fred (Rita) Miller, Marilyn (Raymond) Sabo, Jeannine (Larry) Nagy, Joann (Marty) Schman, Judy (David) Rajewski, Jim (April) Miller, Kathy Montague, and daughter-in-law Patti Karbowski, 12 grandchildren, Fred Miller, Jr., Aileen (Pat) Brady, Alisha (Darryl) Yenna, Becky (Danny) Rabish, Rachelle (Paul) Swart, Jeremy Adams, Dylan Nagy, Corey Schman, Tyler Schman, Melissa (Ben) Ramsay, Cody Rajewski, and Emily Townsend and 5 great grandchildren, Garret and Hayden Brady, Morgan and Keagan Yenna, Garrett Rabish, Ashlyn Swart, and Payton and Parker Ramsay.  Arnold was predeceased by his a son Gary Miller, a grand daughter Sherry Sabo, and a sister Eva Johnson.

 

Funeral Services will be held Saturday March 6, 2010 at 11 am from St. John’s Lutheran Church with Pastor David Jung presiding with burial in Heavenly Rest Cemetery with full military funeral honors.  Friends may call at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home on Friday from 1 to 8 pm.  On Saturday Arnold will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of service.  Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Hospice or St. John’s Lutheran Church.
