Survived By: Survivors include her daughter and two sons: Sharon Dammer, Bill (Susan) Lang, and Bob (Donna) Lang; eight grandchildren: Amy (Mark) Wingeier, Becky (Russell) Smith, Patti (Shane) Hazen, Lori Lang, Rob (Becky) Lang, Brian (Laura) Lang, Jeff (Shannon) Lang, and Kelly (Reyer) Mulder; 14 great-grandchildren; along with her brother, Leonard (Romaine) Novak.
Affiliations: Caroline was employed with the Bay County Golf Course for 17 years before her retirement. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, its Senior Citizens Club, its Rosary-Altar Society, Felician Sisters Auxiliary, and the Elk’s Club. Caroline was a city election-day volunteer and enjoyed playing cards for many years.

     Age 83 years, died Saturday, March 6, 2010 in Bay Regional Medical Center.  She was born to the late Charles and Emily (Sadon) Novak on May 18, 1926 in Bay City.  Caroline was employed with the Bay County Golf Course for 17 years before her retirement.  She was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, its Senior Citizens Club, its Rosary-Altar Society, Felician Sisters Auxiliary, and the Elk’s Club.  Caroline was a city election-day volunteer and enjoyed playing cards for many years.  On November 15, 1947 she married Gerald L. Lang and he preceded her in death on October 6, 1978.

     Survivors include her daughter and two sons: Sharon Dammer, Bill (Susan) Lang, and Bob (Donna) Lang; eight grandchildren: Amy (Mark) Wingeier, Becky (Russell) Smith, Patti (Shane) Hazen, Lori Lang, Rob (Becky) Lang, Brian (Laura) Lang, Jeff (Shannon) Lang, and Kelly (Reyer) Mulder; 14 great-grandchildren; along with her brother, Leonard (Romaine) Novak.

     In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Donald Dammer; and her sister-in-law, Phyllis Ryder.

     Cremation will take place a Memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 10:00AM in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.  Rev. Daniel Roa will preside.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Stanislaus Kostka Church or Heartland Hospice.  Visiting hours are Monday 2:00 to 8:00 PM, with the Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM, at the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel.
