 Beloved son and brother passed away suddenly Thursday, March 11, 2010 at his home. Age 62 years. The son of Eleanor (Bukaweski) Slancik and the late George P. Slancik, Tim was born January 7, 1948 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was employed at Saginaw Delphi for many years until his retirement in 2005. Tim was an avid golfer and member of Maple Hills Golf Club. He was a member of St. Josaphat Catholic Church.

 Surviving are Tim’s mother, Eleanor Heilmann, Saginaw; a sister, Diane (Richard) LaMountain, Saginaw; four nieces, Jennifer LaMountain, Jill (Chris) Marhelko, Jenelle (Kurt) Phibbs, Julie LaMountain; many dear friends.

 Honoring Tim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Committal Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Rev. Fr. Ronald Dombrowski will officiate. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Josaphat Catholic Church. Arrangements entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road.
