Sumiko Bruessow
Auburn, Michigan
Our beloved mother, grandmother, and wife of the late David T. Bruessow Sr., passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the age of 76 years.
Sumiko Tomita was born in Japan February 26, 1934. She married Sgt. David T. Bruessow and moved to the United States in which she became a citizen. Sumi loved to travel to Japan to visit with her family and friends. She also loved to crochet, quilt, cook, play bingo, go to the casino, spend time with her family, eat Chinese food and sushi.
She is survived by 6 children, Paul, Mark (Barb), Matt (Sandy), David Jr.(Tina), Joe (Jackie) Bruessow, Michelle (Bob) Bull; 12 grandchildren and spouses, Preston (Katie), Scott, Kelly Bruessow, and Jennifer (Dan) Flemming; Tim, Tom, Tiffany Bruessow; Libby and Maddy Bruessow; Rachel Bruessow; Sally Jo and Robbie Bull.
