Survived By: Buddy is survived by his wife Phyllis, sons, Bob (Linda) Randall of Vermontville, Raymond (Ruth) Miller of Lansing, Charlie (Jami) Miller also of Lansing, and Brian (Lucia) Campbell of Newberry. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, his sister Cornice (Al) Clark and brother, Larry (Linda) Campbell.
Affiliations: He was a member of the Clare Moose Lodge, The Clare Eagles, the Clare-Farwell American Legion and the VFW. He enjoyed his family, woodworking, fishing and hunting, and playing his guitar.

Achievements: Buddy served in the US Air Force during the Korean War, received his Masters Degree in Education from Michigan State University, and had retired from teaching in the Lansing School District.
 

Bernice "Buddy" Campbell, age 78, of Farwell, passed away on Thursday August 7, at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland.  He was born the son of Bernice and Corrine (Shipman) Campbell on June 13, 1936 in Forest Chapel, Texas.  He married Phyllis McCormick and she survives him.  Buddy served in the US Air Force during the Korean War, received his Masters Degree in Education from Michigan State University, and had retired from teaching in the Lansing School District.  He and Phyllis moved to Farwell's Lake 13 from Lansing in about 1994.  He was a member of the Clare Moose Lodge, The Clare Eagles, the Clare-Farwell American Legion and the VFW.  He enjoyed his family, woodworking, fishing and hunting, and playing his guitar.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 13, at 2:00 PM from the Farwell Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home.  Friends may meet with his family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1 PM to 2 PM.  His final place of rest will be in the Surrey Twp. Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society.
