Survived By: his wife, Barbara, of Pigeon; his two beautiful girls, Janelle Krohn of Long Beach, California, and Suzie Krohn of Bad Axe; parents, Ron and Donna Krohn of Elkton; in-laws Arlene and Hazen Fritz of Pigeon; siblings, brother Randy of Elkton, and sisters Brenda (Jack) Gleason of Elkton and Becky (Eric) Wachowicz of Bay City; in-laws, Jim (Carole) Brunni of Norwood, Colorado, Mary (Jim) Granelli of Long Beach, California, Betty Brunni (Greg Mathers) of Pigeon, Carrie Brunni of Pigeon, and Bill (Son Mi) Brunni of Cedar Springs; nieces and nephews: Ashley, Elizabeth, Sara, Kim, Carl, Jeff, Nate, Matt, Alex, Steven and Jonathan; several cousins, aunts, and uncles; and many wonderful friends.
Affiliations: Dave worked for Tower Automotive as a tooling engineer. He served as a director of the Pigeon Lions Club, was a member of Scenic Golf & Country Club and attended Salem United Methodist Church in Pigeon. He was an active member of the community and was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need.

   David Leroy “Dave” Krohn, age 51 of Pigeon, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2010, at home surrounded by loved ones, after a brief hard-fought battle with cancer.

   Born in Pigeon on April 6, 1959, he was the son of Ronald L. and Donna J. (Kreh) Krohn. Following his 1977 graduation from Laker High School, Dave earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Delta College.

  On April 8, 1978, he married the love of his life, Barbara A. Brunni, at the Pigeon First United Methodist Church.

   Dave worked for Tower Automotive as a tooling engineer. He served as a director of the Pigeon Lions Club, was a member of Scenic Golf & Country Club and attended Salem United Methodist Church in Pigeon.  He was an active member of the community and was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need.

  Dave greeted everyone with a smile, a hug and a kiss, and always had kind words for everyone he met.  He'll be greatly missed by his family and friends.

   He is survived by his wife, Barbara, of Pigeon; his two beautiful girls, Janelle Krohn of Long Beach, California, and Suzie Krohn of Bad Axe; parents, Ron and Donna Krohn of Elkton; in-laws Arlene and Hazen Fritz of Pigeon; siblings, brother Randy of Elkton, and sisters Brenda (Jack) Gleason of Elkton and Becky (Eric) Wachowicz of Bay City; in-laws, Jim (Carole) Brunni of Norwood, Colorado, Mary (Jim) Granelli of Long Beach, California, Betty Brunni  (Greg Mathers) of Pigeon, Carrie Brunni of Pigeon, and Bill (Son Mi) Brunni of Cedar Springs; nieces and nephews: Ashley, Elizabeth, Sara, Kim, Carl, Jeff, Nate, Matt, Alex, Steven and Jonathan; several cousins, aunts, and uncles; and many wonderful friends.

    He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Milton and Isabelle Kreh, and Louise and Roy Krohn; and uncles, Bruce and Ken Krohn.

   The Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21, at Salem United Methodist Church, Pigeon, with Rev. Gloria Haynes, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Grandlawn Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Ocular Melanoma Foundation or the Pigeon Lions Club.
