Survived By: Surviving besides his wife Frances are two daughters, Debra (Louie) Whyte, Pinconning, Michigan, and Karen Michalski, Tampa, Florida; four step-daughters and one step-son, Nancy (Donald) Konieczka, Saginaw, Michigan, Jeanine (Mark) Kreager, Alger, Michigan, Sue (Doug) Brandt, Pinconning, Michigan, Mary Klonowski, AuGres, Michigan, and Thomas (Laurel) Klonowski, Jr., Houghton Lake, Michigan; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; three brothers and one sister, John (Barbara) Michalski, Paul Michalski, and Chester Michalski, all of Saginaw, Michigan; and Carolyn (Keith) Chamberlain (Medford, Oregon); several nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Michalski, a great-granddaughter, Brylie Ann Buchalski, and a brother, Casimir Michalski.

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away January 25, 2015, at South Bay Hospital, Sun City Center, Florida, after a lengthy illness. Age 80 years. The son of the late Alex and Leona (Wroblewski) Michalski, Thomas was born November 13, 1934, in Carrollton, Michigan. He married Frances A. Osmond Klonowski on January 30, 1987. She survives him. Tom was employed at Central Foundry Division, Saginaw-Malleable Iron Plant. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE), the Moose Lodge, Korean War Veterans Association, the Elks Lodge, the American Legion and was a supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project. Tom was an avid NASCAR fan and car enthusiast. He loved reading and spending winter months with his beloved "Frannie Babe" in Sun City Center, Florida, and summers at their home at Houghton Lake, Michigan. He was a member of the Catholic faith.

Tom was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Michalski, a great-granddaughter, Brylie Ann Buchalski, and a brother, Casimir Michalski.

Honoring Mr. Michalski's wishes, cremation will take place in Florida. A memorial service will take place in Michigan at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Snow Funeral Home.
