Marlyn Elizabeth Fergason -
Of Dimondale, formerly Owosso, passed away Sunday, May 9th, at Ingham Medical Center in Lansing. 
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Mowen Funeral Home, with Pastor Brad Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Marlyn was born on July 5, 1933, in Owosso, to William and Clova (Bronson) Tyler.  Marlyn graduated  from Owosso High School in 1951.  Shortly after graduation, she was married and became a full-time homemaker and mother.  She was employed for many years by Owosso Public Schools and Holt Public Schools and also worked as a sales representative for Mary Kay Cosmetics.
She was married on July 29, 1995, to David R. Fergason.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband and attending all of her grandchildren's activities.  She was an accomplished pianist and studied at the Interlochen Performing Arts Academy.  Music and her family were the loves of her life.  She was a lifelong church member, attending the First Church of Christ and the Owosso Church of Christ.
She was predeceased by her parents, and sister and brother-in-law, Delores and James Fergason.
Marlyn is survived by her husband, David; children, Rick (Jan) Luft and DiAnn (Brian) Boardman; grandchildren, Adam, Tyler, and Stephen Boardman, Michael and Jason Luft, Brad and Kevin Wilson; brother, William (Cathy) Wilkinson; step-children, Susan (Steve) Greene, Betsy (Roger) Hanson, and Mark (Jennifer) Fergason.
