WOODHULL, Ralph E. Jr. – of Vassar, age 78, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 1PM Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Life Line Victory Center, 800 State Rd., Vassar. Pastor Wally Reames officiating. Burial to follow in Birch Run Township Cemetery with military honors under the direction of the American Legion Post #164 of Millington. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10AM-9PM and on Saturday from 10AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Comfort Care Hospice.

Ralph was born October 22, 1931 to the late Ralph Sr. and Rosetta (Loper) Woodhull. He married Delphine Johnson on July 11, 1953 in Birch Run. Ralph served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He retired from General Motors in 1996 after 30 years of service. Ralph belonged to the Life Line Victory Center and the Millington American Legion Post #164. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are: wife of nearly 57 years: Delphine; daughters: Suzanne (Randy) Kline of Birch Run, Serena Woodhull of Vassar; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers: Orville (Hazel) Woodhull of Fairgrove, Gordon (Sharon) Woodhull of Vassar, Kenneth (Judy) Woodhull of Mayville; sister: Thelma Kirtley of Battle Creek; son-in-law: Robin Tull of Birch Run; daughter-in-law: Kathy Woodhull of Caro; several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by: daughter: Sarah Tull; son: Ralph E. Woodhull III; grandson: Jeremy Tull.
