BAMBERG, Roger Lee – of Birch Run, died Sunday May 30, 2010 at his residence. He was 50 years of age.

Roger was born January 20, 1960 in Saginaw to Delbert and Beatrice (Bernthal) Bamberg. He lived in Birch Run the past 10 years coming from Clio. He married Jean Marble on September 10, 1988. Mr. Bamberg had worked for Universal Engineering then Chesaning Manufacturing. He was a life member of Mid Michigan Old Gas Tractor Association and a member of the Toyota Land Cruiser Association. He loved restoring tractors and off road vehicles.

Surviving are: wife, Jean; daughter, Allison Bamberg (friend Logan) of Birch Run; mother, Beatrice Bamberg of Birch Run; 2 brothers, Wayne (Caren) Bamberg of Millington, Chris (June) Bamberg of VA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paul Marble and Flo of Flint; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Bamberg on November 28, 2007.

Memorial services will be 2 PM Saturday, June 5, 2010 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12noon until time of services at 2 PM. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, the family or charity of one’s choice.
