Went to be with the Lord Monday June 21, 2010 at her home, age 100 years.  Charlotte Gruhn was born on January 7, 1910 in Germany.   She was married to the Rev. Gerhard Struck on June 14, 1936, he predeceased her on April 11, 1990.  Charlotte was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Surviving are; 1 daughter, Judith (Thomas) Conzelmann of Frankenmuth; grandchildren, Thomas J. (Linda) Conzelmann and children Johnathan, Matthew, David and Claire, Theo (Pat) Conzelmann and children Christopher and Alaina, Jeff (Janet) Conzelmann and children Joel and Katelynn, Susan Parrota and children David, and Michael Patrick, and many nieces and nephews.

Charlotte was preceded in death by 1 son, David Carl Struck.

Funeral services will take place at 11:00 A.M. Saturday June 26, 2010 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1200 E. Genesee St., Frankenmuth.  Charlotte’s family will receive visitors the Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Friday from 2-8 P.M. and on Saturday at church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. John’s Lutheran Church Mission Fund or Hospice of Hope.
