JACOBS, Mary
Munger, Michigan
Age 83 years, died Friday, June 25, 2010. She was born to the late Joseph and Stella (Adamkiewicz) Neering on January 9, 1927 in Bay City. She was a member of St. Norbert Church, Munger. On November 22, 1947 she married Raymond Jacobs and he preceded her in death on October 30, 1998.
Survivors include her six children: Raymond (Jean Ann) Jacobs, Diane (her fiancé, Jim Melnik) Stothard, Larry Jacobs, Suzanne (Jeff) Brink, Gerald (Jeralyn) Jacobs, and Roger (Kelly) Jacobs; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren; her brother, Thomas (Betty) Neering; two sisters: Virginia Droptiny and Dorothy Gatza; along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Edward, James and Joseph Neering.
The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Monday, June 28, 2010 at 10:00 AM in St. Norbert Church (126 W. Munger Road, Munger). Mary will lie in state in church Monday after 9:00 AM. Rev. William J. Gruden will preside and entombment will follow in St. Patrick Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be directed to “Wishes of the Family.” Visiting hours are Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel.
