MORGAN, Marie J. – of Montrose, age 84, died Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Genesys Hospice, Goodrich. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held 1PM Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Montrose. Fr. Gary McInnis officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 12PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the church or Genesys Hospice.

Marie was born December 29, 1925 in Meadville, Pennsylvania to the late Salvortore and Carmella (Ullio) Gaglione. She married Bill Morgan on December 18, 1943. He preceded her in death on July 1, 1993. Marie enjoyed sewing, reading, baking, cooking and spending time with the family babies. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.

She is survived by: children: Kathleen (Duncan) Bissell of Montrose, Dianna Morgan of Chicago, Illinois, John (Corrine) Morgan of Pennsylvania, Tom (Jean) Morgan of Florida; grandchildren: Carrie, Jenny, Anne, David, Theresa, Jamie, Christy; great-grandchildren: Anthony, Joshua; one great-great-grandchild is on the way; brother: Charles (Jane) Gaglione of Pennsylvania; sister: Julia (Andy) Battista of Pennsylvania. She was also preceded in death by: daughter: Linda Morgan; brother: Al Gaglione; sister: Anna Meijers.
