William J. Godmer

St. Charles, Michigan

      Passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010, at his home.  Age 72 years.

       The son of the late Merle and Loretta (Dubay) Godmer was born May 6, 1938 in Pinconning, Michigan.  He married Marvel L. Wasalaski, January 12, 1957. She survives him.  He served with the U.S. Air Force, retiring after twenty years of service and later was employed by Saginaw Products retiring with fifteen years of service. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

     Surviving besides is wife, Marvel, are six children and their spouses,  Tim and Deb Godmer; Kelly and Dean Siniff; Vicki Godmer; Terry Denise Campbell; Kevin and Beckie Godmer; Sande and Ken Mills; seventeen grandchildren; two brothers and a sisters, Tom Godmer and his wife, Karen; Ray Godmer;  Tootie Cisneros; several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Monica, has predeceased him.

     Cremation has taken place. Memorial funeral liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2010, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd. Saginaw.
